This is dad's 1975 IH Scout II with an SV304 motor, TF727 transmission, D20 and D44 front and rear. He bought this and a parts '76 SII from a guy in Port Republic with the intent to turn it into a daily driver. Once we started working on it we discovered much we wanted to fix before it hit the road and hence has become a project instead of a turn key purchase.
We have pulled the motor, flushed and cleaned it and installed all new freeze plugs. I pulled the factory emissions Holley 2210 carb and replaced it with a 350cfm Holley 2300 I ran on my trail Scout for a while. We installed a 4" spring lift with ScoutCo heavy duty factory length shackles (see links page). With some body parts off the '76, interior pieces from AJ (see parts rigs) and a top we bought from another ODBA member.
